Co-Founder and Chairman of the Global Center for Cultural Entrepreneurship

Thomas Aageson is the Executive Director of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation (MNMF) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a nonprofit organization that provides private support to the Museum of New Mexico’s (MNM) four museums and six state monuments. He is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Global Center for Cultural Entrepreneurship.

Aageson created the Santa Fe Cultural Leaders group, led the economic development planning for Santa Fe’s arts and cultural industries and has worked with the UNESCO Division of Cultural Expressions and Creative Industries.   He also chaired the formation of Creative Santa Fe and is the Co-Founder of the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market.

He is a cultural entrepreneur himself having created the Maritime Art Gallery at Mystic Seaport Museum, a print and book publishing venture (Mystic Maritime Graphics), several mission related food enterprises, and New Mexico Creates. GCCE-top-logo
